I spent a little over two weeks in this hostel. I've been to probably 80 different hostels across all of Mexico/Central America/Europe and this one does not disappoint. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Close to the beach, grocery stores, cheap restaurants, bars...everything. Not sure what the bad reviews are about as I spent about 3 hours talking to the owner over the course of the two weeks. He is a fellow traveler and has owned this hostel for over 10 years. Do not hesitate to stay here. The other guests and workers were pleasant to spend time with as well. I spent many nights sitting out front hanging out with the people of the hostel!

Great place to stay within your budget in Playa del Carmen. Well situated in downtown, clean with necessary amenities. Offers food (vegetarian options too) & drinks. Staff is very friendly as is the manager. Recomended.
Minutes from the beach but close to some local spots also , AC at night, cheap beer and good vibes. Amazing staff, special shout out to Dani L!
I really enjoyed my stay here. I love the art and the vibe. The staff was super friendly and informative. Only thing is that if I was admin, I’d clean/fix the shower heads often to avoid clogging.

I spent here more then one month with my friends. I was excited with all of workers here, it’s very kind and friendly peoples. The hostel located in a very good place close to the sea and all of shops. Hostel have a own bar on the first floor with different type of drinks, good prices and delicious food. When I’ll be in Mexico again I stay here for sure.
Did not stay here, simply found it on a Google search for a place to try with craft beer prior to going to see some music...Craft beers were awesome, Curry rice was great, mixed drinks are the bomb....hand stirred (not blended) piña colada?@? WoW
